The MS140 family of bar code slot readers is a flexible, cost effective solution when you demand a reliable and rugged slot reader.  With a resolution of up to 6 mils ( 0.15 mm ), the MS140 is capable of reading any bar coded identification badge.

Its water resistant base and rugged housing make the Unitech MS140 bar code slot reader a popular choice in any environment.  An optional mounting bracket is available to safely secure  the unit in any direction.

The Unitech MS140 bar code slot reader is available in both keyboard wedge and RS232 interfaces. Decoded versions are easy to use and configure. The unit can be configured on screen by selecting the desired options from a menu. The configuration can be reproduced in other units by generating custom setup labels.

Its die-cast metal base, stainless steel wear plate, and impact-resistant housing make it ideal for stand-alone, high-volume traffic. 

Its metal base can be securely mounted with screw, and cable exits are available at the side end, or bottom of the unit.

The Omni bar code slot reader can be programmed to divide, rearrange, edit, and validate fields of scanned bar code data.  In addition it allows for up to 16 preamble or postamble characters.
