The Honeywell MS9590 Voyager GS bar code scanner features a new ergonomic design that maximizes comfort and reduces fatigue for customers desiring a trigger-activated, hand-held laser scanner. This new form factor makes the scanner ideal for a variety of applications, including retail point-of-sale, office automation and healthcare settings. The Honeywell MS9590 Voyager GS bar code scanner ensures speed and accuracy by combining patented automatic infrared activation technology with an enhanced depth-of-field. This scanner also includes Honeywell’s patented CodeGate® technology which easily completes data transmission with a single trigger pull. CodeGate is an intuitive scanning system that is ideal for all scanning applications, including menu-scanning, Point-of-Sale, document processing, and inventory, just to name a few. CodeGate works hand-in-hand with Honeywell’s patented automatic-triggering scheme. Simply present a bar code to the scanner; the high-visibility, 650mm laser is automatically activated allowing the user to easily select the bar code to be scanned. Press the CodeGate button and the data is transmitted to the host system. The Honeywell MS9590 Voyager GS bar code scanner can be configured at no cost by using either the MetroSelect® Single-Line Configuration Guide or MetroSet®2 software via a RS232 or USB interface. The Honeywell MS9590 Voyager GS bar code scanner also has the ability to format bar code data to meet the specific requirements of host systems. For presentation scanning, the Honeywell MS9590 Voyager GS bar code scanner offers an optional flexible stand with automatic in-stand detection technology. Additional product features include a rapid scan speed of 100 scans per second, extended depth of field, CodeGate data transmission, manual-trigger operation, automatic in-stand detection, data formatting, configuration with MetroSelect or MetroSet2 via RS232 or USB and a 5-year limited warranty. |
