The MMF Heritage 240 retail cash drawer with media slot is a full size, heavy duty, retail under-counter cash drawer with a center media slot and offers optional under-counter mount brackets. The MMF Heritage 240 cash drawer can be also be utilized for over-counter applications where the larger MMF Heritage over-counter cash drawer might be too big. Often, the MMF Heritage under-counter cash drawers will be sufficient in size to accommodate placing the peripherals on top of the cash drawer.

The MMF Heritage 240 cash drawers are the ideal solution for non-cash transactions. Customer checks, courtesy checks, money orders and credit card sales receipts can be conveniently and quickly deposited. Simply slide media through the front slot... no need to open the cash drawer. The MMF Heritage cash drawer with media slot utilizes 20 gauge unitized steel construction with a reinforced 1-piece body for a clean appearance with no metal welds.

The industry standard MMF Heritage cash drawers have been enhanced with field upgradeable interface cables to meet the changing needs of the POS marketplace. The unique design allows users to change printer interface cables in the field to meet changing POS system requirements. This first of its kind interface concept lowers the total cost of ownership, increases cash drawer return on investment and addresses the problem of cash drawer obsolescence resulting from system upgrades.

The MMF Heritage cash drawer with stainless steel face integrates with most ECR/POS systems and is available with 24V solenoids for use with any 40 column receipt printer on today's market. The MMF Kwick Kable is a replaceable interface cable that allows for quick, efficient receipt printer connection. The heavy duty Tuffy money tray, constructed of tough ABS plastic, has five fixed coin and five fixed currency compartments  with spring-loaded bill weights.
